Share the gift of Easter with children in foster care and kinship placements.
Basket items are donated by the Bethany congregation and assembled into Easter Baskets. The baskets go to children in foster care homes and transitional housing programs. Each basket includes a Christian Easter message. Approximately 350 baskets will be given away this year.
Donation items for each basket:
- 8 -12 inch Easter Basket or Bucket
- 8 -12 inch New Stuffed animal
- Approximately 6" tall Chocolate Bunny
- Toothbrush and Toothpaste
Donation of basket items can be placed in collection bins that will be around Bethany until Mar 29th.
Cash Donations Accepted - Make checks out to "Bethany UMC" with "Easter Basket Project" in the memo line.
Assemble Baskets

Families are encouraged to volunteer together. Basket assembly is traditionally Palm Sunday (the Sunday before Easter) during the Kids and Student Sunday School hour.
