Fernanda is a Provisional Elder of the Río Texas Annual Conference. She serves as an Associate Pastor overseeing the church's Care Ministry — including the ministry of Prayer, the House of Friends Respite program, Lay Pastoral Care Ministry, Grief and other support groups, Special Needs Ministry, and Stephen Ministry. She also leads Bethany's Spanish-speaking Bible study. Fernanda holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from the Universidad de Monterrey and a Bachelor's in Theology from the Seminario Metodista Juan Wesley. She also holds a Master's degree in Theology and a Master of Divinity from Perkins School of Theology, and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Ministry at the same institution.
