Lori Pierce has served as the Director of Inviting Ministries since January 2020 after working on the Children's Ministry staff for almost three years. Her aim is to extend God's love and hospitality to all who enter the church and create an inviting atmosphere by working with greeters, shuttle drivers, our kitchen manager and event volunteers. Lori's passion is to make guests feel welcome and help them connect to a community within the church where they can learn, grow and receive support to deepen their relationship with God.
Lori has attended Bethany along with her family since 2014 where you can find her worshipping at the contemporary service, serving with her Sunday School class, or leading Children's Choir. She is married to Mark and has two energetic children, Xander and Lainey. Lori has a B.A. from Texas A&M and an M.A. from UT Arlington, so in the Fall, you can find her entire family wearing maroon and cheering for the Aggies. In her free time, Lori enjoys hiking and riding bikes with her family, exploring the city, reading books, working on home improvement projects with her husband, and organizing get-togethers with friends
