For 50 years, God has been writing the story of Bethany United Methodist Church — and we can’t wait to celebrate this milestone together!
Join us as we honor the 50th anniversary of Bethany’s very first worship service, held at the original site of Pond Springs Elementary. This special day will be filled with worship, memories, gratitude, and fellowship as we honor those who helped shape Bethany into the church it is today.
We’ll gather as one church family for a single worship service at 10 AM featuring special music, reflections on Bethany’s history, and a celebration of God’s faithfulness through the decades.
Following worship, stay for:
- Food & cake
- Fellowship with friends old and new
- A special display of Bethany memorabilia and photos through the years*
*If you have items to contribute to the photo and memorabilia display, please bring them to the Church Office by June 25 or email Cayton Janner to make arrangements. Be sure to label with your name and contact info.
Whether you’ve been a member since the very beginning, recently found your church home here, or were part of Bethany’s journey somewhere along the way, ALL are welcome. This celebration is for YOU!

We're inviting our surrounding neighbors to celebrate with us with:
- A combined worship service at 10 AM
- Special guest Bishop Cynthia Fierro Harvey
- Lunch and celebration on the grounds immediately following worship
