A new partnership sponsoring children through World Vision
We are beginning a new partnership with World Vision to sponsor children in Honduras, similar to the Matete, Kenya program we previously participated in and is now wrapping up. As one of the poorest nations in Latin America, Honduras is plagued by governmental corruption, social unrest, gang violence, hurricanes, mass migration and one of the highest murder rates in the world. Imagine what a huge difference our Bethany family can make in a place where the average citizen lives on less than $2/day.
Jul 12 & 13: Photo Days
On Saturday and Sunday World Vision will be taking photos of those who are willing to financially sponsor children in Honduras. Pastor Wade and Cindy will take those photos and spend the week in Honduras. The Honduran children will choose their sponsor from our photos, so bring your best smiles to your photo shoot!
Jul 19 - 20: Reveal Party!
World Vision will return to Bethany on Saturday and Sunday with pictures and contact information for the children who chose our members to become partner in ministry. For Matete, we chose the kids - this time, the kids will choose us!
