  • Jan 18 & 25: Wired Word, Churches Depict Nativity of Christ in View of News - This lesson uses news of unusual nativity displays that have created a range of reactions to consider the purpose of religious art, the meaning of the birth of Christ, and biblical teaching about how to treat the stranger among us.
  • Feb 1: Wired Word, Pastors and Churches Are Using Artificial Intelligence - Since pastors and churches are increasingly turning to artificial intelligence (AI) to assist them with ministry and mission, this installment of The Wired Word will focus on appropriate uses of technology, how we see and hear God's Word, and the church's identity as the body of Christ. We will also explore the ways in which human beings are superior to AI, and should never be replaced.
  • Feb 8 - May 10: 1 Corinthians - We'll be using a LifeGuide Bible Study to study this letter to the Corinthians by Paul. Study Guide written by Paul Stevens and Dan Williams.

  • Jan 18 - Apr 5: Why Did Jesus Have to Die? The Meaning of the The Crucifixion by Adam Hamilton - People express questions about the logic of the cross. They believe in it, but don't fully understand it. The atonement, the work of Jesus on the cross to reconcile humanity to God, is often as described as a mystery. Through this book/study Adam Hamilton helps readers make sense of the Crucifixion so that we might hear God speak to us through it, and that we with Paul. "I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. and in the life I now live in my body, I live by faith, indeed, by the faithfulness of God's Son, who loved me and gave himself for me" (Galatians 2:20)

  • Feb 22 - Mar 29: The Third Day, Living the Resurrection by Tom Berlin and Mark A. Miller - This study connects us to the experiences of several individuals around Jesus in his final days, focusing on new life and redemption rather than loss. Join Peter, Mary Magdalene, and Thomas as they feel the despair of losing Jesus and the surprise and joy that awaits them in the resurrection, and with Paul and the disciples at Emmaus, and how the resurrection transforms their lives.
