Easter Basket Mission Donations Form

Share the gift of Easter with children in foster care and transitional housing. Specific items (see below) are donated by the Bethany congregation and assembled into Easter Baskets. The baskets go to children in foster care homes and transitional housing programs. Each basket includes a Christian Easter message. Approximately 200-300 baskets are given away each year.
Types of Volunteers Needed:
Families are encouraged to volunteer together. Basket assembly is traditionally Palm Sunday (the Sunday before Easter).
Monetary contributions - make check to "Bethany UMC" and put "Easter Basket Project" in the memo line.
Donations of items for each 12-16 inch diameter basket includes:

- 8-12 inch Stuffed animal (new or gently used)
- Approximately 6" tall Chocolate Bunny
- Toothbrush and Toothpaste
- Cash Donations Accepted - Make checks out to "Bethany UMC" with "Easter Basket Project" in the memo line
How to Volunteer:
Contact Christy for specific time and place of basket assembly.
Donation of basket items can be placed in collection bins that will be around Bethany three weeks prior to Easter.
