Care Wear is a nationwide group of volunteers who knit, crochet, and/or sew, providing handmade baby items directly to hospitals.
Types of Volunteers Needed:
Anyone who loves to knit, crochet or sew baby items.
How to Volunteer:
Contact Vickie Koelling. Yarn is available in the supply room located on the third floor of the Disciple building. Baby items may be dropped off in the church office in the Care Wear for Infants box
Current Projects/Dates:
Ongoing. University Medical Center Brackenridge is in need of full-term and preemie baby hats, booties, and receiving blankets.
