Serving Under-Privileged Families in our Community

We focus on going into poor, working class neighborhoods to hand out sandwiches, fruit, chips, cookies, boiled eggs, milk and juice boxes to families. We see lots of kiddos coming up to our truck. On the opposite side of the truck we hand out full sized bottles of shampoo, bar soap, toothpaste & toothbrushes, disposable razors and deodorant. In addition we offer any clothing that has been donated and sometimes children's books & toys. If we encounter any homeless along our route we stop and hand them pre-packaged bags of food.

Bethany takes a Mobile Loaves and Fishes food truck out three times a month. We always need volunteers to make sandwiches in the Bethany kitchen as well as individuals who'd like to ride on the truck to hand out meals. This is a late afternoon mission. We distribute food and clothing to poor neighborhoods first, and then to the homeless.
