Administrative Board Meetings are open to the entire congregation, and you are highly encouraged to attend. This is a great place to learn about Bethany's vision and direction for the future and for our ministries. Join us!


2017 Ad Board Meeting Schedule:

  • Sunday, January 22, 5:00 PM (Annual Church Conference) - Celebrations of our ministries will be shared and our new Administrative Board leadership will be approved. It will be presided over by our District Superintendent. Childcare will be provided in F-108.
  • Monday, April 24, 7:00 PM - All are welcome to attend! Childcare will be provided.
  • Monday, August 21 7:00 PM- All are welcome to attend! Childcare will be provided.
  • Monday, November 13, 7:00 PM- All are welcome to attend! Childcare will be provided.

What is the Annual Church Conference

Each United Methodist congregation holds an annual church conference, with the District Superintendent presiding, for the purpose of reviewing and evaluating the total mission and ministry of the church, and receiving reports from:

  • The Finance Committee regarding budget for the upcoming year.
  • Staff Parish Relations Committee regarding personnel.
  • Committee on Lay Leadership (Nominations Committee) regarding new church officers for the upcoming year.
  • Trustees regarding property issues.
  • Stewardship Committee regarding prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness.
  • Membership regarding worship and Sunday school attendance.
  • Reports are also received from various Program Ministry areas, e.g. Children, Youth, Congregational Care, Missions.
  • Each pastor is also required to submit an annual report of his/her ministry activities during the past year.
