- Jesus teaches us God’s expectations for giving!
The Parable of the Talents teaches that God will hold us accountable for what we do with all that God has given us. There are over 2,000 Scriptures that teach about the responsible use of money and giving with joy! Jesus wants us to share the Master’s happiness as good stewards.
- We are grateful for all of God’s blessings.
Give generously to him and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the Lord your God will bless you in all you work. - Deuteronomy 15:10
- In response to God’s gift.
God gave first. God gave the best. God gives us the opportunity to respond to his gift of Christ Jesus.
- Giving blesses us as we bless others.
Following a true biblical understanding of giving will transform life with the joy of generosity. Giving your best to God enables you to reach your potential in serving others through the church.
- Giving involves our heads, hearts, and hands, as we become deeply committed Christians.
Giving begins with a spiritually driven decision (head) that leads to financial giving as you witness your faith.
Giving grows from the heart of your relationship with God and the church as you worship.
Giving continues as your gifts become the helping hands of mission and ministry as you serve.
