Hunger & Food Ministries

Bethany supports various ministries which focus on hunger and food needs in our local area and around the world.

Local/Regional

Hill Country Community Ministries (HCCM)
Bethany is committed to donating 200 boxes of macaroni and cheese, 193 rolls of toilet paper, 82 cans of meat, and 102 cans of fruit each week. Collection bins are located on campus

Feed My People
We help sponsor one breakfast a month to feed the downtown homeless (300-400 people).

Fresh Food Fridays
Distribution of healthy fresh produce to those who may not have access otherwise. This ministry is in conjunction with HCCM. Bethany host distribution on 1st Fridays each month.

Mobile Loaves and Fishes
A local ministry which helps feed the homeless and those who cannot afford to feed their families.

Backpack Food Ministry
We provide food each Friday during the school year to children at Purple Sage Elementary school who otherwise won't have access to nutritious food over the weekend.

Souper Bowl of Caring
Each year on Superbowl weekend, our youth collect funds to fight hunger in our community. 100% of the donations go directly to local hunger-relief.

International

World Vision: 30 Hour Famine
Each year, Bethany's youth participate in this World Vision event to raise awareness and funds to help fight hunger around the world. The funds raise by Bethany are used to help buy food and support sustainability in Matete, Kenya.

Child Sponsorship in Matete, Kenya (World Vision)
Bethany has committed to work with World Vision to improve the lives of the people who live in Matete, Kenya through child sponsorship and hands-on mission work

Serving Beyond Our Walls
